This W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. Seahorse Whittler knife utilizes a 2 1/4″ Wharncliffe blade, 1 1/2″ Coping blade and 1 1/2″ Pen blade. Stamped with pattern number 10355WH CS, the blade material is 1095 Carbon Steel with a mirror-polished finish. (Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer.However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it’s not cleaned and oiled regularly.) The handle is smooth Dark Red Burlap Micarta with a Black Oval Script Inlay shield. The bolsters are Highly polished Nickel Silver. It’s around 4 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 2.4 ounces.
