This Benchmade, Inc. Freek knife utilizes a 3 5/8″ Locking Drop-point blade with a plain edge and black thumb studs. The blade material is CPM-M4 Carbon Steel with a Black finish. (Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer.However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it’s not cleaned and oiled regularly.) The handle is textured, Gray & Black G10 with Axis lock, lanyard hole and reversible tip-up pocket clip. It’s around 4 7/8 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 4.3 ounces.
